Giveaway: Godiva chocolate.

“Blue Monday,” aka the most depressing day of the year, is Jan. 24. Godiva chocolate could be just the lift you’ll need — and if you win this giveaway they’ll be in your mailbox in time to lift your spirits.

Up for grabs are:

  • Three chocolate bars (milk, dark and milk with almonds)
  • Two tins of chocolate “pearls” (dark chocolate and dark chocolate with mint)
  • One bag of chocolate-covered strawberries

Knowing that the sweets are on the way should help you make it through Blue Monday. And if you’re immune to such problems? Hang on to the treats — they’ll make a heck of a Valentine’s Day impression on someone.

If you do any (or all!) of these things, please leave additional comments to get credit for each entry.

  7. Well, I have never heard of “Blue Monday” but now that I know about it I do need chocolate to get through it! It would be heavenly to win your Godiva giveaway. But if I am not lucky enough to win the Godiva, it will give me an excuse to go buy some chocolate to sustain me. 🙂

  8. Hi Donna, I never heard of “Blue Monday” but it makes sense, as historically someone in my house (me) loses their mind every January since we’ve been in the Pacific Northwest. Please sign me up – in a house full of teenaged women, medicinal chocolate is more valuable than gold!

  9. CHOCOLATE! This would be awesome, considering I didn’t get my usual collection of Terry’s Chocolate Oranges this year for Christmas. 🙁 I usually have a small piece after dinner every day to satiate my sweet-tooth!

  10. In my office, chocolate is for medicinal purposes. It’s amazing how a good truffle at the right time has prevented a catastrophic hissy fit. Should be marked, “in case of emergency, break seal”

  11. The one gift I look forward to at Christmas-my daughter always buys me Godivas and I am really stingy with them! I just eat a piece occasionally to make it last as long as possible. I would love love love to win this!

  12. For anyone who cares, chocolate is a bean. And beans are vegetables. So eating chocolate is a GOOD THING.

  18. It will be a Blue Monday because I have my first ever periodontal appointment that day. It seems the dentist should have sent me there last year, even though it is only one tooth! Chocolate to eat when I come home would make the day so much more bearable. I subscribe by email.

  20. I vote we make Blue Monday a national holiday. Of course, then it would lose it’s meaning as the most depressing day, wouldn’t it. Okay, then send me the chocolate and I’ll work it out on my own. 😉 Please and thank you.
