Thanks for clicking on the link from Trent’s weekly roundup. I hope you have a chance to do a little additional reading while you’re here.
The “Popular posts” tag is a good place to start. In particular, the posts “Why I’m writing, and why you should read it” and “Turning invisibility into stealth” will give you an idea of what I’m about.
Then again, so will “Dr. Demento and the desecrated turkey” — this site is my playground for words, which can mean serious issues or fun stuff. One day I’ll write about student loan debt but the next I’ll discuss my encounters with Sarah Palin (we were in the same shotgun tournament in Alaska, but I’m not a fan of her politics) or the guy who invented “Xena, Warrior Princess.”
Please consider subscribing, either through RSS or e-mail. And don’t forget to enter the weekly giveaways. Every Friday I announce a new one — everything from a talking alien doll to Godiva chocolate to a $100 Amazon gift card.
Real life is so much more interesting than the movies. Come share it.

Love that saying!!
I’ve been reading and enjoying your columns for years, Donna, but I was disappointed today that you felt the need to make your opinion of Sarah Palin known. I really don’t think a personal finance blog is a place for such sentiments, though they were thankfully mild and not nasty. I’ll keep reading (and enjoying!) your blog, but I have to tell you that I didn’t leave today’s entry with my usual good, satisfied feeling. Just my humble opinion, thanks for listening.
@Laura: This isn’t strictly a personal finance blog. But even if it were, I don’t think that political viewpoints would be out of place. I’ve seen plenty of political commentary on PF blogs, which is to be expected since politics/policies and finance are so intertwined.
Thanks for reading, and for leaving a comment.
WOW, you are super famous! Just don’t forget us little people!
@Sonya Ann: Unforgettable. That’s what you are.
(And what you AREN’T is little.)
Thanks for reading.
