For a spell there my posts were either too short or too personal (i.e., not related to personal finance) to enter many PF blog carnivals.
This week I’ve been accepted to three. Everybody wants to feel wanted, right?
“Can’t stand the heat? Get into the kitchen – but only long enough to make some iced tea” was an Editor’s Pick in the Carnival of Personal Finance at Budgeting In The Fun Stuff.
“Online news won’t save the planet” is an Editor’s Pick in the Carnival of Money Stories, hosted at Squirrelers.
“The pickup truck theory of life” was chosen for the Festival of Frugality at Canadian Finance Blog.

Donna, how do you get your posts considered for these carnivals? Is there a way to enter? Do you just post, and hope?
I’d love some advice in this area. Feel free to e-mail me directly. Thanks so much for your help.
@Cindy, and @anyone else who blogs: There’s a main address for blog carnivals, at http://blogcarnival.com/bc/. Although a lot of the carnivals appear inactive, be persistent — plenty are still working. Bookmark the ones you like.
Entering is very simple: You just provide the URL and a few other bits of info. You’ll be notified if you’re selected. In return, you’re expected to link to the carnival and also promote it in other ways if possible, e.g., social media.
Good luck. I hope I see your work in the carnivals soon.
